Ok all we had another great day out. Weather wasn't too bad and dare I say it...no rain! Now lets get some constructive input rolling. Keep in mind that we can not build on the land. I will go first and please be honest in your input from a team/player perspective. Not your personal physical abilities or lack there of.

Re: New field Pros and Cons
when we start to not have an open mind , and absorb the positive and reject the negative , we tend to loose sight of the bigger picture ,
1. we forgot that one of our own took the time and manage to get this field for the TEAM.
2. lets not see the now but, the potential of what it could become .
3. And the most important , if we cannot come to an accord in the little things
what is going to happen when we need to make decisions that affects the team as a whole . gentlemen , the formula to succeed is to multiply , and the downfall of the many is to divide.
A simple feedback have become an issue that goes beyond that .

Re: New field Pros and Cons
The intention of feedback in any manner is to get both good and bad. Bad feedback is the best to get in my opinion as good feedback just states their happieness. With negative or constructive feedback a business learns it spots for growth and where it may be losing people. Nothing said within this thread is derogatory with exception to a posters physical limitations which were also expressed. The ideas formulating around the location are no different than that of what was done at the farm over the years. We as a team found spot to enhance, discussed it, and acted upon it when needed.
To be unable to distinguish the line between personal attachment to an object and the opinions on how to enhance it against your own opinions leads to no where.
1. we forgot that one of our own took the time and manage to get this field for the TEAM.
We must not also forget that there is no I in TEAM only the TEAM working together.
2. lets not see the now but, the potential of what it could become .
Absolutley, spot on! With a group concensus and disscussion we can do anything!
3. And the most important , if we cannot come to an accord in the little things what is going to happen when we need to make decisions that affects the team as a whole . gentlemen , the formula to succeed is to multiply , and the downfall of the many is to divide.
Again spot on. We must also see that the addition factor plays on the formula. With the addition of new players comes fresh eyes and new ideas! When we multiply our efforts we become stronger. The TEAM is like "Draw and Quartering"- The team unity is the victim and we all represent the horsemen. If we stay together no one gets hurt, but should just one wander off a limb will be lost!

Re: New field Pros and Cons
I just reread all the comments and think it would be great to hear everyone's input on it. Come January it will prove to be a good training ground for Stali!

Re: New field Pros and Cons
I DEFINITELY AGREE WITH THAT....I WILL SAY THE CHALLENGING THING ABOUT THIS FIELD IS NOT KNOWING THE LAND OR WHAT TO EXPECT. NOW EVENTUALLY WE WILL KNOW IT LIKE THE BACK OF OUR HANDS BUT UNTIL THAT POINT WE CAN LEARN ALOT FROM THE FIELD AND ALOT ABOUT THE WHAT WE NEED TO WORK ON AS A TEAM AND AS INDIVIDUALS

crazy... crazy... crazy
This is Just Crazy! I am at a loss for words. Well we can see there are a lot of differences in opinion, style of play, and terminology. With that being said I can also see that we also agree on a lot of things too. I had no idea that one time out on another piece of land would fire up this much discussion. I know the farm is home to SH5. I was never trying to change that. This is simple, its just land. If u like it great, if you don’t that’s ok too. I promise I am not pushing this place on SH5 and no one has to do anything they don’t want too. I actually was thinking in terms of a York group with open play for SH5 when ever they needed it. I completely agree it is not going to be a place like the farm that we can work on, set up and are free to make what ever changes we feel best suits a certain style of play. (by the way great job Murdoc with the farm) There was good and bad feedback. As I said in my last post I will try and work on things to make it more, let’s say user friendly. But I can not promise anything. If it was my land I would say “ I got 4 wheel drive” Other then that some things are just left better unsaid. As far as I am concerned this ends my conversation to this subject. Any thing else can be discussed with me in person or taken up the chain of command.
